Parenting & Transformation Coaching

I collaborate with mothers at all life stages to create a path of balance, clarity and consciousness in parenting and in life.

In order to usher in more joy and fulfillment every day….

We establish calm, harmony and connection within your family by building skills and empathy. Including skills to enhance attachment, communication, repair, mutual understanding and playfulness. Special needs families most welcome.

Our goal is to identify the life you desire and design the roadmap to get there. Whether in relationships, career, or beyond. Together, we uncover patterns, build awareness and learn new skills. We examine your blocks, with compassion, and make room for more joy, ease and laughter.

“Like many parents, I struggled with translating gentle and respectful parenting “theory” into practice. Jen helped me to expand my understanding of behavior and relationship, and to integrate what I learned.”

-L.M, Lawrence, KS

“It’s been so special to see the transformation in my parenting and the effect it’s having on our son. Our home is becoming a peaceful and cohesive place…”

-B.B., Minneapolis, MN

Hi! I’m Jennifer Ullyot

I’m a humble parent. As the mother of a teenager and two college students, I've been a student of parenthood for the past 20+ years. Initially, I was motivated by my desire to have easy, cooperative children — my hands were full with a special needs 5-year-old, a 3-year old and a newborn baby; I needed all the help I could get! However, practicing the "childrearing philosophy of the moment" was never particularly successful, nor long-lived. I was focusing all of my efforts on changing my children’s behavior and very little time focused on changing my own. Quite ironic since I’m the only person whose behavior I can actually control.

It’s easy to enjoy the parenting highs, but it was the lows that led me to seek out more emotional awareness and peace personally — so I could provide the same for my children. I immersed myself in the study of conscious parenting, attachment science, the mind-body connection, mindfulness and energy — and found a philosophy and tools that support me so that I can best support my children. As a result, I’m able to create authentic, connected relationships with my children and the other loved ones in my life. (Some days much better than others!) While my children are each different, they all share the need for unconditional love and acceptance and for a vital connection with the best version of me, their mother.

There are years when that the so-called "best version of me" went underground. So much to do, so much responsibility, and not enough hours in the day! Or so I justified to myself for not carving out time to be a person in addition to being a mother. Another irony — I thought I was doing the best thing for my children by giving them 100%. Over time, this was a disservice as I let myself burn out. As a result, my work with mothers centers around both the well being of the family as a whole and the well being of the person called “Mom.” Please reach out if you’re interested in this life-changing work.

Take time for yourself to reconnect with what you really want in your life as a parent and as a whole person. Rediscover your inner resources of creativity, curiosity, authenticity, groundedness and intuition.

Find freedom and the ability to see your life with new eyes.

How It Works:

When you book a call with me, we’ll sit down together and talk so I can get a sense of what’s going on for you and your family and where I can offer support.

I’ll explain my approach and the options we have for working together. You can ask any questions you have and see what type of support would be the best fit for your life and schedule.

If it feels right to you, we can book our first session and get started.  If it’s not a good fit, I will do my best to offer alternative resources or suggestions for support, wherever possible. There’s no pressure of any kind, simply an opportunity to see if we are a good fit to work together.

Let's Talk!

So that you can take the first step towards becoming the kind of parent you know you can be.
